What is FCC Certification?
FCC certification is a mandatory approval for wireless products to enter the US market. All intentional radio transmission products manufactured or sold in the United States must bear FCC label to show that the device is tested to comply with the limits approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
What is the FCC Certification Process?
First of all we need to do the required FCC testing. The test scope for the FCC certification is based on the radio technology that the product uses and is specified in applicable FCC standards.
After all testing completed and passed, the testing lab will generate the FCC test reports and prepare other supporting documents. All of the reports and supporting documents will then be submitted to one of the Telecommunications Certification Bodies (TCB) for review and approve. Once approved the TCB will issue a FCC Grant.
